Workshops Electroretinography Workshop Endolaser Workshop

The Endolaser Cyclophotocoagulation workshop is presented by Dr David Wilkie and Dr Dineli Bras.

ECP in Canine and Feline Patients Lecture and Wet Lab

Endolaser cyclophotocoagulation is a newer technique for glaucoma management in small animals. This course will highlight patient selection, step by step surgical technique including videos, postoperative care, and an overview of surgical outcome over the 5 year period in which we have been utilising the endolaser.  Data analysis for canine and feline patients, differences in surgical technique and treatment, and outcome for each species will be provided. We would also include other surgical uses of endolaser, including mass ablation, uveal cyst ablation, iridectomy, and retinopexy. The lecture would then be followed by a wetlab where surgical equipment and cadaver eyes will be provided.  Multiple diplomates with vast experience in utilizing endolaser will be present at each wetlab station to guide and assist with the surgical technique.
